Delete Your Account

1. Overview

Gatherfan, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Gather," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the Gather mobile application (the "App"). This page explains how to delete your Gather account and what happens to your data when you do.

2. Delete Your Account From the App

You can delete your account at any time from within the App:

• Open the Gather app and sign in.
• Go to your Profile.
• Tap the three-dot menu in the top right, then tap Settings.
• Tap Account, then Delete account.
• Type DELETE to confirm.

Once confirmed, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion.

3. Request Deletion If You Cannot Access the App

If you can no longer sign in, email info@gather.fan from the email address or phone number associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before proceeding.

4. What We Delete

When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize the personal data associated with it, including:

• Your profile (name, username, photo, and bio).
• Your email address and phone number.
• The collection and collectibles held in your account.
• Your gamification data (XP, streaks, and badges).
• Your follows and in-app activity history.

Account data is purged from our active systems within 30 days, and from backup copies within 60 days.

5. What We Retain, and For How Long

We retain a limited set of records after deletion where necessary for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes:

• Log data and IP addresses: up to 90 days on a rolling basis.
• Analytics data: up to 24 months in aggregated, de-identified form.
• Records required to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations, for as long as the applicable law requires.

Card artwork embedded in collectibles already issued to other users may be retained to fulfill our service obligations to those users.

6. Collectibles Recorded on the Blockchain

Some collectibles are recorded on a public blockchain. Blockchain records are permanent and cannot be erased from the blockchain itself. When you delete your account, we remove the link between those records and your identity in our systems, but the on-chain record remains.
